Register for Your Campus Alerting System
Each Texas A&M campus or location has a unique emergency alert system designed to keep you informed during critical situations. Registering for the correct emergency alert system ensures you receive timely updates on emergencies, including severe weather, campus safety issues, and other urgent notifications.
You do not need to be a student, faculty member, or Texas A&M employee to receive most alerts. Parents and other members of the public are encouraged to sign up as well. Use the table below to determine the correct alert system for your location.

What To Do When You Get an Alert
The alert will provide a website address for more information as it becomes available. To stay informed about the situation, monitor credible sources such as local television and radio stations and reputable weather websites. Remember that social media may not always be a reliable source of information.
What Happens After an Alert is Issued?
Once an alert is issued, the Division of Marketing & Communications (MarComm) distributes communications regarding incidents. MarComm collaborates closely with the Public Information Officer (PIO) from the University Police Department and other responding agencies to ensure the timely and accurate dissemination of information.
Multiple alerts may be sent during the emergency, depending on the situation's evolution. In addition, a final “All Clear” alert will be sent once the immediate threat has passed or the emergency has been resolved.
