About Continuity Planning

Continuity Planning is the process of ensuring that essential functions can continue during a wide range of potential emergencies. This planning helps Texas A&M University departments and organizations respond effectively to major disasters or disruptions, allowing them to maintain essential operations with minimal downtime.

A continuity plan consists of resources, actions, procedures, and information developed, tested, and kept ready for use in the event of a disaster or significant operational disruption. It helps Texas A&M departments and organizations maintain essential functions and quickly return to normal operations after an emergency.
