Texas A&M University

Preparation should take place before a crisis occurs. Texas A&M has implemented several measures to enhance campus safety and preparedness; however, your safety and preparedness are ultimately your responsibility.

The trainings listed below are designed for individuals with specific roles in their emergency plans or seeking more information. To request training, please email us at emergencymanagement@tamu.edu.

NIMS Training Guideline

Texas A&M University has adopted the National Incident Management System (NIMS) in accordance with Texas A&M University System Policy 34.07. NIMS training helps to develop incident personnel capable of performing necessary functions at their respective level of incident management. The Texas A&M University NIMS Training Guideline outlines progressive training for staffing roles within response.
